What I've been up to

Hi, friends! I know it's been a hot minute since the last post. I really didn't intend this gap period to stretch this long, but the person who's helping me transfer my newsletter and website has been very, very busy troubleshooting some technical stuff of her own. (As in, so busy she's emailing me updates at 1 AM her time.)

So, I've been in a kind of limbo this past month when it comes to my online homes. You know that awkward feeling of being all packed up and ready to move, except you can't actually...move yet? 📦

Yeah, it's been a bit like that.

But I finally decided it was worth breaking open this packed "box" of my blog to give you guys an update, even if I'll have to manually transfer this later.

Ugh, this is one of the many reasons I hate moving. At least this is better than moving physical residences. In that sense, I have moved. So. Many. Times. 😭 I've lost count, honestly. I moved almost every year in my twenties, and that wasn't even the start.

When Sarah complained about moving? Yeah. That was personal.

The good news

The good news is, the things in my control have gone much better this past month.

My first assistant started work, and she's helping figure out the crazy world of social media. I have the accounts now, but there's not much there yet. Hopefully next time I'll be able to share them with you. (And hopefully I'll be able to show off a refreshed website!)

And I have made some writing progress on book two of the new trilogy. (It's going to be a trilogy. I will make it stay a trilogy this time! Unlike last time. 😅). It's just going to be a long book, because I'm 65k words in and still only...about a third of the way through. Maybe.

The beta reading period for the first book will continue until I finish the whole trilogy and start editing it. My current goal is to finish the first draft of the second book by the end of June and the third book by the end of September. But we shall see!
