Spring madness (i.e., sales and master plans)

What I've been up to
🍃It is the time of the Great Green Explosion, in which the woods go from nubby buds to full leaf seemingly overnight.
Which is fun, but it also foretells the time of the Great Bug-ening—when we are reminded just how many insects also call this area home. We've already had to deal with our first ant infestation of the year, and no doubt there will be more to come.
Soon, soon.... 🐛
In the spirit of spring cleaning, my mind has not yet let me immerse myself in writing again, so I don't have much more progress to report on that front, I'm afraid.
What you need to understand about me is that I have both an Artist 🎨and an Administrator 💼 inside me who are always battling for dominance. The Artist, weakened from the intense writing sprint at the beginning of the year to get out the first draft of book one, has taken a longer leave of absence than expected, letting the Administrator stage a complete coup and declare that now is the time to do All The Things.
"All the things"? Really, Leah?
Really. Those of you who have been around a while know I don't do things by halves.
But don't worry, like a good INTJ evil mastermind, I also put a lot of thought into my plans before executing them, so these are things I've been thinking about and I knew needed done for months now, but now is the perfect time to do them, because they're all connected. I'm lining up all the balls just so, so I can hopefully knock them out all this month.
And by that, I mean redoing my website, switching newsletter platforms, hiring my first assistant, and dabbling in...
...[insert drumroll 🥁]...
...social media. 😱
I know, I know, I have avoided it like the plague for this long, but...it's time for me to woman up and try. If I'm going to make it in this career, I'm going to have to be in a few more places than just my website and newsletter.
The newsletter and my subscribers will always come first. That's is the VIP club that will hear everything first and get stuff no one else does. I'm going to repackage some of the newsletter for other platforms (like I've been doing for a bit with this blog), because that's the only sustainable way to do this, but not all of it. So if you want it all, subscribe!
🎧Audio Sale!
At long last, as promised, I have a Chirp deal lined up for you on the brand spankin' new Books 4-6 audio bundle!
And let me tell you—that bundle is nearly 104 hours of audio,* so that's a crazy steal.
Perfect for some spring/summer travel you might have planned, perhaps? Even if not, it's a great way to give me a little tip! 🫙
*I just barely realized the run time was 103 hours 59 minutes when I was grabbing the retail link for you guys. That's hilarious. 😂 Maybe you should replay little parts at the end to make it a full 104.
